About Wainoni Park Pony Club
Club Philosophy
We aim to cultivate a fun inclusive learning environment with a structured coaching regimen giving members every opportunity to enjoy, learn and develop in a safe environment.
We endeavour to make horse ownership as affordable as possible and support each other in our commitment to care for and manage a horse or pony.
Club Facilities
​The equestrian facilities at Wainoni Park in Greenhithe, Auckland have been constructed for use by members of Wainoni Park Pony Club and Greenhithe Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
Facilities include:

70m x 75m Floodlit Sand Showjumping Arena (all-weather)

20m x 60m Floodlit Dressage Arena (all-weather)

Cross Country Course up to 105 cm (including ditch, sunken road and water jump)

Members have the benefit of full use of these facilities.
A limited number of annual ground passes are available to
non-members. Arena hire and daily ground passes are available to casual riders.
Club Community
Wainoni Park Pony Club is run by a committee of volunteers together with the support of all members and their families.
Committee meetings are held on the second Monday of every month (except January).

All riders and their families regularly contribute to looking after the grounds and facilities with large working bees held several times a year.
Club History
Wainoni Park Pony Club was founded in 2018 from the merger of Greenhithe, Rosedale and Whenuapai Pony Clubs.
​
The Wainoni Park Equestrian Trust leases the grounds at Wainoni Park in Greenhithe from the Auckland Council for the mutual benefit of Wainoni Park Pony Club and Greenhithe Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
